    Jerry Pardilla, NTEC (National Tribal Environmental Council) spoke about Climate Change Initiatives and Outlooks

    Jerry provided an overview of NTEC climate change policy initiatives and related activities, such as their work for tribal inclusion in national climate policy, specifically with the Climate Security Act (CSA) that was introduced in the 110th Congress. He also forecast certain U.S policy developments.

  3. Upcoming Opportunities

    • "Area of Expertise" Listings on TribalP2
      Myla Kelly (Peaks to Prairies Coordinator) has prepared a map of TribalP2 participants to put on the website Should individuals be listed, or just the tribes? Two tribal members suggested having a general listing, one was open to personal information. Myla will put a query out on the list-serve.
       
    • NPPR tribal webpage update
      NPPR has a TribalP2 description on their website at. Tribes are invited to suggest additions and modifications, and send those to djaber@california.com
