Cowboy and Indian Alliance Protests Keystone XL

Members of the Cowboy and Indian Alliance, including Native Americans, farmers and ranchers from across the United States, were escorted by police as they marched down Independence Avenue to protest the proposed Keystone XL pipeline in Washington, DC. The march started on April 22, 2014, as part of the alliance’s “Reject and Protect” protest, a weeklong series of actions to show their objections to the pipeline.
